Iím an integrative, solutions-focused
psychotherapist with verified training to work with
people online. That means I draw on different
therapy methods with a focus on your outcome,
enabling you to change something thatís been
worrying you, so that you can move forward with your

Online counselling/psychotherapy can be really
helpful for receiving support for a wide range of
difficulties. I work with anxiety, including
phobias, fears, depression, relationships, anger and
self-esteem, to name just a few. I also help people
with more physically-orientated problems, such as
IBS, weight issues, and pain management over Skype.
Whatever your reasons are for choosing online
counselling or therapy, there are different ways
that we can work confidentially and securely
together, such as on Skype, by secure email, or
internet text messaging. We can even agree to do
some of each: you might feel more comfortable with a
particular medium, such as writing, or prefer the
visual method of counselling on Skype. You can read
about these in the 'how' section.
Having therapy online has the benefit of being able
to book an appointment in the near future without
having to wait up to several weeks, which can often
be the case with face-to-face counselling.
The most important thing to remember when browsing
for online counsellors/psychotherapists is to check
they are registered with one of the main counselling
and psychotherapy bodies. In the UK, these are the
Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and
the UK Council for Psychotherapy, UKCP.
Therapists with additional training to work on the
internet usually belong to ACTO, the Association for
Counselling and Therapy Online.
